It’s Saturday! I hope you have plans to do whatever makes you happy today. Me, I’ve got to brave the market to refill the fridge. We’ve got beautiful weather, so we’ll probably eat out doors at some point today. We’re also awaiting the annual return of our daylilies — this one is our Bela Lugosi, my personal favorite!
This week was ever so nice — Hermit Girl actually had some time out of the house. I had a “writing date” on Wednesday with writer friend, Kimberly Frost. We met for coffee and writing, and had lunch afterward. We talked writing, publishing and promo, and had an all around great time!
The next day I headed into the city and had lunch with my husband at our favorite sushi place. Seaweed salad, sushi, gyoza and yakiniku don! Glub blub!!
The rest of the week was filled with miscellaneous business! Today and tomorrow, I’ve got to put the finishing touches on “teaser pages” for SO STILL THE NIGHT, so I can send them to my editor on Monday. They’ll be included at the end of NIGHT FALLS DARKLY and hopefully they will do their job and tease!
I did receive confirmation this week that SO STILL THE NIGHT, Book II in The Shadow Guard Series will be published May 2009.
