Hey, if you’re one of those who are headed to San Francisco for the annual Romance Writers of America convention, have fun and travel safe!
I am skipping this year, and instead spending the next 8 days in exciting (and sometimes very dangerous) 1889 London. All I need is me and my time machine ** waggles eyebrows at Dell computer**. And a stack of resource books. And lots of coffee. And me old brain!
Exciting news — Huntress Reviews had some great things to say about my upcoming release, NIGHT FALLS DARKLY. Here’s an excerpt!
*** A new and fascinating mythos is being created before our eyes in this book. This spin on Immortality has some hints of things that have been done in the past, but is also quite original. Readers are in for a mental treat, with no tricks. ***
Thank you to Huntress Book Reviews!
And for those of you just bouncing in to read the blog — I am hosting a contest that runs through August 31st, and the prize is an Advance Reading Copy of NIGHT FALLS DARKLY. Just click on my contest page — it’s super easy to enter!

Congrats on the excellent reviews, Kim!
And I’m not going National this year either, but that means I’ve got money to get Night Falls Darkly, right? :D
by Suzan July 29th, 2008 at 8:37 pmHey Suzan! How have you been? I have not seen you in forever. Maybe in August or September, at some writer-ish gathering!
I’ll be in my writing hovel until the 6th though. Unwashed hair, and not changing my clothes, so you … probably wouldn’t want to see me before then.

by Kim Lenox July 29th, 2008 at 8:56 pmThis is the first year in several that I’m writing instead of attending conference. There’s something deliciously wicked in that.
Enjoy the writing, Kim

I had to pass on Nationals also. Bummer, but I’m getting tons written, so that’s good.
