It’s raining! It’s raining!
I feel bad about all those who are experiencing the flooding. Here at my house, however, things are perfect for rainy day writing. Other than the fact that I’ve got four kids here … How did that happen, anyway? Because a pal needed somewhere for her kids to go for the day, and she’s always been so supportive of my writing, and watched mine many times. (Thank you, friend!) So yes, I’ll be working around hip-hop dancing girls and gaming guys.
I do admit to praying for the rain to continue so there will be no soccer practice tonight. School starts on Monday, and while we’ve had a great summer, I’m looking forward to a more regular writing schedule.
I am working toward “The End” of Book 2, so yes, there is light at the end of the tunnel! I hope the story is as thrilling for you as it is for me! Once I send off the mss, I’ll jump into regular blogging and contests, and all the fun stuff leading up to the October 7th release of NIGHT FALLS DARKLY.
We’ll talk soon.

Hi Kim. Being in Western NY, we had alot of rain the last couple of weeks, but nothing like the flooding that Florida is going through. Seems the storm ‘Fay’ is lingering on there. I just hope it dissolves before coming up here because we have gotten the last end of the storms before.
Cool on book two getting close to done. October can’t come soon enough for NIGHT FALLS DARKLY! I’m so excited about it!
by Caffey August 21st, 2008 at 11:12 pmThe rain didn’t last nearly long enough, did it? I’m looking forward to October and getting my hands on Night Falls Darkly. I’m glad #2 is going well for you and you’re in the home stretch.

And oh, boy! We’ve got Gustav coming our way now. Hopefully it won’t blast us — I don’t have time for a hurricane right now!
