I had a great day yesterday! I had a gal pal lunch with Berkley author, Kim Frost, and enjoyed a really yummy bellini martini!
And I think I was supposed to announce a new contest on Monday. It’s THURSDAY! Ooops! I apologize! Obviously Kim Lenox’s publicist (whose initials are K. L.) is falling down on the job.
So here we go! We’re going to have a very easy contest. Do you have to read anything before entering? No! (Well, only this post!) Do you have to answer any quiz questions? No! Not unless you feel like it. So what do you have to do to enter? Just post a comment to any of my blog posts between now and Friday, October 17th and you’ll be entered to win. Yes, you can just type in “hooya!” or “snort!” That works.
And what marvelous prizes are you going to win? I’m still working on that, but let me assure you, it will be GOOD!

Mine never went to such extremes, just wouldn’t let me take along a book or notepad when eating out. “Catherine, you are not going to take a book or paper and pencils. You are going to socialize.” Ugh! :) Of course these days I’m grateful–otherwise I might never have learned how to interact with other people! Simply can’t wait for NIGHT FALLS DARKLY’s release!!!

Yeeees! That’s a true story about my mom, and my consuming reading habit. It was just so much easier to hide in books than go meet new people! Eeek! But hey, I’m glad she gave me a push. Nowadays I’m kind of an … extroverted introvert!
