I’ve got a few errands to run today, and then I’ll spend the rest of the day writing! My apologies for the lack of posts recently, but my schedule has grown a lot more complicated. No, I haven’t had octuplets. I have returned to work full time. The blips in the economy affect us all, don’t they?
So I will need to be very disciplined in order to meet my deadlines — and meet them WELL (i.e., write a good book!)
That said, I will be posting on my blog regularly again. Regularly, for me, is about 3-4 times a week. I just needed a little time to adjust to the new schedule. So I’ll see you here!
And I have still been around! If you feel like surfing the net today, check out Silk and Shadows, where I and my fellow “dark romance” NAL writers have pondered the question … where would we send out characters on a winter holiday? Okay, so not such a deep question, but it’s FUN to imagine. Who wouldn’t want to go on little winter holiday with Archer, eh? And possibly get snow bound!? Even better!
I have also been featured by the very talented romance author, Teri Thackston, in her daily Examiner Romance Novels blog.
I’ll be part of a big giveaway on author TJ Bennett’s website in the coming weeks, so I’ll provide more details on that soon. As part of her prize package, I’ll be giving away a signed copy of NIGHT FALLS DARKLY as well as an advanced reading copy of SO STILL THE NIGHT.

And what do you think about that cover? I love it. I was so thrilled when someone told me it looked like Gabriel Aubry — because when I’d sent in the suggestions for the book’s cover, I’d sent this picture of Gabriel Aubry.

What a hottie.
Have a great Saturday, everyone! I’ll see you tomorrow!

I wouldn’t mind spending some time with Archer.

No, really…I’m serious!
Just kidding. But I really do want it. :( Please?

Sorry to hear you’ve also been affected by this wretched economy. I hope your new schedule doesn’t cause you too much stress. Hang in there, and know romance fans like me love your new Shadow Guards series. I can hardly wait to read the next book. Love the cover!
by Jennifer February 26th, 2009 at 11:46 amHey Kim,
I can think of almost nothing better than snowbound with Archer…except maybe my own hero ;)
Not sure if you noticed, but I ran your new Shadow Guards cover over on my blog last week and even got a fan-girl response for ya.
I’d say the cover Gods are still smiling if the art department came that close to the picture you sent in. If we could all be so fortunate.
Take care and write well :)
