It’s a chilly afternoon in Texas! Even Tango is curled up in a basket with his nose tucked in.

As you may know, my family and I recently moved into a new home. It’s a temporary move, and we’ll be here for less than a year, but I still find the need to make things comfortable, the way I like them. I’m spending this afternoon getting my office in order. One thing that always sends me off into an unproductive daze is research material. This afternoon I let myself get distracted reading about real life historical scandals. Fun!

If you’re visiting my site, then perhaps you enjoy paranormal historicals as much as I do. Unfortunately, they’re a bit difficult to find. Here’s one I just bought to read, FIRELIGHT, by Kristen Callihan, though I haven’t started it yet. The reviews are fantastic, and Diana Gabaldon provided a cover quote!
